To celebrate our good fortune in having clean and plentiful water, the Cortland County Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting the 28th Annual Waterfest on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Cortland County Water Works.

There will be horse-drawn tours of the waterworks, a drinking water taste test and a computer water trivia quiz, exhibits on groundwater, invasive species and aquatic insects, a large fish pond, games for kids and much more!  We will also be offering fish printing – bring a clean white t-shirt if you would like to make a fish print using a real fish!  The Cortland Crush concessions and Ronny the Raindrop will also be there, as well as balloons, duck races and face painting.

Come on out to the Cortland Waterworks this Saturday to learn about water and have some fun!
