The NYS Conservation District Employees Association, Inc. (NYSCDEA) held their annual meeting, training and Awards Banquet last week in Syracuse.  Amanda Barber received her 35 year pin and award, Matt Swayze, NYSDEC Forester, was awarded the 2024 Partner Award for his support to conservation programs and Districts, Melissa Rutter received New Employee recognition, and Shawn Murphy received the Presidents Award for his support and service to Districts and employees during his tenure on the NYSCDEA Board.  The Cortland community is fortunate to have these local talents!
